Protonic Blue BMW i8 Gallery

One of the colors we predicted through our renders was Protonic Blue, and here it is at Frankfurt IAA 2013. The Protonic Blue BMW i8 also features the LED headlight units North American BMW i8's will be delivered with, the it features squared off cascading halo-esq shapes.

The Official BMW i8 Released (Gallery and Press Release)

Production BMW i8 revealed through scaled model

New pictures have surfaced from Car and Driver revealing the Production BMW i8's Scale model which clearly shows the traditional Hofmeister Kink and the crease underneath the A-pillar. This confirms that our latest BMW i8 renderings (See inside) should be pretty accurate.

BMW i8 Technical Specs (Gallery)

The BMW i brand is synonymous with visionary mobility concepts and a new definition of premium quality that is strongly focused on sustainability. Following the world debut of the first production model, the BMW i3, the BMW Group’s next step will be to extend this revolutionary answer to the future challenges facing personal mobility to the sports car segment. At a driving event at the BMW Group’s Miramas test track in France, the BMW i brand is now presenting a prototype of its second production vehicle, the BMW i8. The BMW i8 Production Interior Spyshot

This spyshot from Autocar.co.uk partially shows off the BMW i8's Production interior. From what we can see in this picture is the M-Sport steering wheel, bespoke sports seats, driver centric dashboard and a pretty large arm rest storage. The BMW i8 Plug-in Sports car is due sometime end of 2014 to beginning of 2015.
